Role description:
Ana Law LLC, a premier law firm, specializes in patents, trademarks, asset protection, business formations, copyrights, NDAs, and litigation management.
We are seeking a motivated student interested in intellectual property and business law to join our team.
You must be enrolled in school in the USA (or a soon-to-be student / recent graduate who currently resides in the USA). Candidates outside of the USA will not be considered due to the confidential nature of our work.
This is an unpaid, remote position. Occasionally, you will have an opportunity to go to local/non-local events (conferences, client launch parties, client meetings, etc.) with or on behalf of Ana Juneja.
The schedule is flexible. Your hours will depend on the amount of hours you are available and/or eligible for school credit.
Typically, interns work 5 hours per week per credit.
Ideally, we are seeking interns who can work 10-25 hours a week.
No previous legal knowledge is needed.
The tasks you will perform are:
- Research current news stories in various legal fields
- Research cases related to intellectual property and business
- Prepare patent/trademark/copyright applications
- Draft legal documents (Cease & Desist letters, IP purchase agreements, IP assignments, Memos, etc.)
- Manage client documents
You must be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and work as a team.
